Co-worker Placements
We offer supported work based placements for people with additional needs at The Prospects Trust. Our Co-workers are the heart of our organisation from working on our 18 acre Care Farm in Reach, out and about on our Garden Team or behind the till in our busy shop Prospects Trust Unwrapped in Ely. We also offer supported 1:1 Horticultural Therapy placements at Snakehall Farm for people with more complex needs. We can provide work skills in our Enterprise Kitchen and in our Farm Office too. We have acres of opportunities for people with learning disabilities, autism, disabilities and health needs.
Our farm gates are always open to new Co-workers and we can offer a range of specifically tailored support packages to suit all levels of need. We think mud (especially the organic type) is marvellous but we know that isn’t the case for everyone which is why we have a number of different opportunities across our social enterprise projects and sites. To ensure that Prospects Trust is the right place we offer a free taster day for any potential new Co-worker.
To find out more about our Farm, Office, Enterprise Kitchen, Garden Team or Prospects Trust Unwrapped Work Placements or Day Placements with Personal Support give us a call on 01638741557 or email coworker.manager@prospectstrust.org.uk to set up a visit, a call and to check our placement availability.
We work with schools and colleges to provide supported work experience and can tailor sessions to incorporate your learning outcomes with our experienced trained staff. Please ring and speak with our Co-worker Manager for more information.
We have service level agreements and commissioned frameworks with Cambridgeshire County Council and neighbouring counties. We can provide EHCP funded placements in partnership with SEN and SEND schools, colleges and pupil referral units. We are also registered with Cambridgeshire ICB to provide 100% and partially funded by NHS (health) placements.
We are open and transparent about our placement fees and publish our New Starter Rates here. From 1st April 2026 our new framework rates are:
