At Prospects Trust, we provide meaningful work, skills development, and training opportunities for people with additional needs, learning disabilities, or autism — our Co-workers. We are a social enterprise – our collective hard work is sold to our supportive customers, so we can plough back that income into the running of our very busy charity. But we are always looking at ways to develop our facilities, offering, services and reach – for that we welcome donations, grants and community fundraisers.

With every £1 pledged we will unwrap more opportunities, harvest more achievements and nurture more developments across our sites and teams. From the heart of our organisation – Snakehall Farm – our 18 acre organic site in Reach Cambs to the pavements of our socially inspiring enterprise – Prospects Trust Unwrapped in Ely. to each and every customer gardens maintained by our Garden Team in between – your donation to our appeal will make us GO TO GROW this year. We plough our income, grants and donations into true growth of people and prospects. Farm Flush: Accessible Loos for All at Snakehall

Well if you have visited our amazing organic haven at Snakehall Farm you will know the magic of the outdoor space we offer our Co-workers (people with additional needs) but if your visit created a pressing need you may also have noted how inconvenient our inconveniences are? With many muddy boots and lots of queues our loos are just not fit for purpose anymore. An ambitious Loo Appeal was launched by our Co-workers on YouTube with their rendition of “all we want for Christmas is a new loo”, we have secured a grant from The Screwfix Foundation and already raised £1000s in donations. However WEE still need more. The loo block at Snakehall Farm will be a brand new block, with accessible toilets, room to swing a chicken or two loo cubicles, handwashing sinks and maybe even soap that removes the tomato stain from our grower’s fingers! With your donations we can make sure our Snakehall Farm loos are accessible for all, thrones for our future, lovely loos for lots of hard working Co-workers. Send us a golden deposit today.

The Big Brew at Snakehall Farm

There is noting more British than popping the kettle on! Here at Snakehall Farm every farming task used to be decided with a cuppa in one hand and a white board marker in the other in our heart of the farm – The Tea Barn. Covid came and moved us all to flasks and travel mugs. We always promised one day we would be able to put the kettle on and come together as a group of Co-workers and staff and now we have the Big Brew at 11 am. This tea break will be served by Co-workers for Co-workers, offering them choice over their favourite cuppa of the day and chatting with their team mates about their work tasks of the day too.

We are looking at making this a free provision for all of our Co-workers (people with additional needs) so we are seeking funders and donors of the basic provisions needed to kick start an essential part of everyone’s work day. Donate online in the time it takes to make your morning cuppa

Plant a Tree with The Prospects Trust

In a corner of Cambridgeshire our little charity is making a big difference for now and the future. The Prospects Trust at Snakehall Farm is creating a new natural space for all, accessible to our local communities, farm friends and of course our Co-workers (people with additional needs) our bottom field is going WILD. Helping create a new woodland area will take decades but with your help we can plant more trees this winter.

We are looking for TREE-mendous people, businesses and organisations to help us boost the woodland with wonga!

Meet Maz – Our Executive Director and Charity Fundraiser

Our Executive Director’s first capital fundraising project back in 2009 was the Snakehall Farm Bus Shelter and over the decades Maz has helped secure grants, donations and encourage others to FUNdraise for the Trust, including skydiving twice but never again. Maz has secured grants to install catering kitchens, open shops, replace vehicles, buy tractor attachments, install pods, renovate barns and she absolutely loves a raffle (BIG FIB). From wacky wheelbarrow races to People’s Millions national voting campaigns we have done it all to fund our capital projects, facilities improvements or new provisions across the whole organisation. Maz really needs your help to bring in the donations and grants.
