Registered Charity, Social Enterprise, Refill Shop and a Real Farm

The Prospects Trust is a registered charity 1048584, Company Ltd 3087221 and an organically certified farm UKF003870. This means everything we do has a social purpose – to give people with additional needs a place to grow differently.  Our Co-workers are engaged in everything we grow, make or do at The Prospects Trust. Everything we grow is sold in our Farm Shop on site, wholesaled across Cambridgeshire and even more excitingly in our very own Refill Store, GREENgrocery and Cafe Enterprise – Prospects Trust Unwrapped in Ely. Every penny we make is ploughed back into the The Prospects Trust, creating more opportunities for more Co-workers.

BUT we do not keep the farm afloat from the sale of cucumbers alone!

Our charity is supported from a wide variety of charitable giving, from donated goods to large capital grants.  New ventures and new developments are supported by external  funding and investments, ensuring we continue to improve our farm site for future generations of Co-workers, create new ventures to support Co-workers in life and employment skills or add new projects to support the growing needs and demands of adult social care – differently.

How can you help us grow?

BUY PROSPECTS PRODUCE: Our farm shop is open dawn to dusk stocked with all the ORGANIC seasonal best; sown, grown and harvested by our Co-Workers. We always welcome wholesale orders and new  customers.

BUY PROSPECTS PRESERVES: Mama Julie’s special recipe preserves have got our farm kitchen bubbling, try some of our unique new recipes based on our local produce and made by our Co-worker Kitchen Crew.

UNWRAP YOUR WEEKLY SHOP: Pop to Prospects Unwrapped in Ely (CB7 4EG) and refill, restock your larder and linger longer with a Hot Numbers Coffee prepared by our Barista Crew.

EAT CAKE: Our Enterprise Kitchen bake up a storm and you can snaffle our bakes in Prospects Unwrapped or buy direct from our Snakehall Farm site or support our Exning Stall at The Wheatsheaf every Thursday.

COMMISSION A PROSPECTS PRODUCT: Our creative team at Snakehall Farm get busy in the winter and our woodwork workshop creates unique hand crafted items. We offer a cost effective solution to that unusual present.

CONTRACT OUR GARDEN TEAM: Our green fingered horticultural Co-workers work out and about  from a regular tidy up to a total garden transformation we are the ones to call.

HIRE IN PROSPECTS PROJECTS TEAM: We have a special work team that loves a challenge, we are always looking at new opportunities to take our Co-workers  off the farm and into the wider community  tackling a commercial contract such as fencing, garden makeovers and school grounds transformation.

VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME: We offer regular or seasonal volunteer sessions and corporate team building  days with a difference, grab your boots and get stuck in our mud!

JOIN OUR TEAM:  We offer supported placements for people with additional needs and have spaces  available for new faces on our farm.
